Why I Write

Answering the question “Why I Write” was a big part of giving my writing direction, and also answering a lot questions I had about myself, like who I am, and what I want out of life.  I write because I have something to say about world I live in, the experiences I’ve had, and subsequent lessons I’ve learned from those experiences. So many stories I wish I had, had in my youth.

Writing allows me the freedom to tell those stories in a median I’m comfortable being vulnerable through, words. Words helped me find who I am, and who I am is an inescapable fact. So I must write. Why do you write, but what drives you to create?
